    To our knowledge, eruptive vellus hair cysts have been reported solely in children, except in two young adults,1,2 and the onset of the cysts in middle age has not been previously reported. The cysts are characterized as being a persistent asymptomatic papular eruption involving the chest and extremities.3 We describe a woman who is suffering from eruptive vellus hair cysts that started when she was in her 50s. The cysts are mainly distributed on both forearms, but they also appear on her face and the anterior aspect of her chest.Report of a Case.— 
    A 64-year-old woman was seen in July 1984, for a persistent asymptomatic papular eruption on both forearms, face, and the anterior aspect of her chest. The lesions were first noted on the extensor surface of both forearms at the age of 54 years. For the last two years, additional lesions developed
