    In the July 1967 issue of the Archives, Ito et al published an article entitled "Atresia Of The Intrahepatic Bile Ducts With Xanthomatosis," in which they claimed that "no reports of this disease had been found in the dermatologic literature."Although it would not have been possible for the authors to have seen our case report, since their paper was accepted for publication on Dec 21, 1966, Dr. Evelyn Richter and I presented a boy with the same condition on March 1, 1966 at the meeting of the New York Academy of Medicine, which was published in the Society Transactions of the Archives (94:791 [Dec] 1966).
