AB Dermatologists Work Toward Better Liaison in Washington, DC 
    The American Academy of Dermatology and other national organizations representing dermatologists are moving toward a better relationship with members of the Senate and the House of Representatives, with congressional committees, and with key federal agencies.In recent weeks, several activities point to the inroads being made by dermatology on the national legislative scene.Workshop on Manpower and Funding 
    A two-day Workshop on Manpower and Research Funding in Dermatology was held under the auspices of the National Institute of Arthritis, Metabolism, and Digestive Diseases (NIAMDD) in Bethesda, Md, in late February. The objective was to establish a dialogue between representatives of dermatological organizations and the national institute responsible for programs involving dermatology.
