This book is the latest in the series Advances in Dermatology and summarizes the most recent developments in dermatology during the past 5 to 10 years. It is divided into 5 sections dealing with dermatologic surgery, internal medicine, pediatric dermatology, dermatopathology, and clinical research.
Each section highlights the areas in which there have been the most significant discoveries in that particular field. Thus, in the dermatologic surgery section, sclerotherapy and ambulatory phlebectomy are described in detail and advantages and disadvantages are compared. Liposuction and cosmetic laser surgery are also included under this heading.
