ABSTRACT

Annual Essay Contest.—  The American Dermatological Association Research and Educational Fund, Inc., is again offering awards for the best essays submitted for original work, not previously published, relative to some fundamental aspects of dermatology or syphilology. The purpose of this contest is to stimulate investigators to original work in these fields. Two cash awards are available as follows: $1,000 for first place, and $400 for second place.Manuscripts typed in English with double spacings and ample margins as for publication, together with illustrations, charts, and tables, all of which must be in quintuplicate, are to be submitted not later than Oct 1, 1966.The manuscripts should be sent to Dr. R. R. Kierland, Secretary, American Dermatological Association Research and Educational Fund, Inc., Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn. Those which are incomplete in any of the above aspects will not be considered. Manuscripts should not exceed 10,000 words. In order to aid
