FAR ECHOES FROM THE XVII INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF MEDICINE IN LONDON

To the Editor,

To take the boat back home I went to Liverpool, where I remained two days. I felt it my duty to pay a visit to the dean of the dermatologists of that city, my colleague, Dr. Stopford Taylor.

Leaving Dr. Taylor’s office, I proceeded to the Skin Hospital.

The institution is self-supporting, obtaining some financial aid from the moderate charges on the medicines and from the fees of the students. The institution receives also some fees from the Insurance act, which is regarded with great satisfaction by the physicians as well as by the patients.
